Service partners are subject to pre-qualification reviews or ensure they can meet Bay City Cleaners customer service requirements and have the applicable insurance, and business licenses. As COVID-19 continues to spread throughout our community, Bay City Cleaners has developed a response plan to provide critical cleaning services for exposed areas. Our response plan adheres to EPA and OSHA regulations and strictly follows CDC recommended guidelines and industry standards for biohazard cleanup and disinfection. We are prepared at this time to assist our Clients in the decontamination and cleaning of their properties.
Bay City Cleaners protects all personnel providing this service with the appropriate levels of PPE for COVID-19 cleaning. This includes a full-face respirator mask, micro porous suit, shoe covers, gloves and no exposed skin.
EPA approved viral disinfectants expected to be effective against SARS-Vov-2 are systematically applied, given proper dwell time, then wiped down where applicable on all common touch points and or areas of potential exposure.
All debris and consumables used in the cleaning process are bagged, sealed and disposed of. Bay City Cleaners adheres to strict corona virus decontamination procedures for equipment, and waste storage.
Incase of an outbreak, workplace/station cleaning and disinfection should follow the same general principles used in healthcare settings: removal of dirt, frequent disinfection and use of a certain set of disinfecting products.
Cleaning frequency by area
Public area (e.g. reception, etc.): 3 times daily before and after workday, plus mid-day 4 times daily 5 times daily During severe of worse pandemic outbreak, activity in public areas may be substantially decreased
Meeting rooms: After all meetings and at the end of the day, between meeting time will be for cleaning.
Lavatory: Should be cleaned every 2 hours prefer drying hands with paper towels and dispose in garbage cans.
Kitchen/Pantry: Current frequency with identified cleaners Every 2 hours. Do not share kitchen sponges
High touch areas (e.g. light switches, doorknobs, etc to be cleaned every 2 hours.
Private offices: Before or after workday in addition, clean after individual with pandemic-related disease like symptoms has been in the office.
Shared office space/cubicles 3 times daily before and after workday, plus mid-day 3 times daily in addition, clean after individual with pandemic-related disease like symptoms has been in the office. Personnel should be provided appropriate cleaners to clean their own office more frequently.
